Just a plain-English understanding of what we both expect from each other.
We've built 7 Wood on relationships, not paperwork. This isn't a legal document designed to trap you — it's a short, honest statement of how we work, so everyone joining knows what to expect.
There's no lock-in, no minimum term, and no leaving fee. If 7 Wood stops being right for you, you tell us and you're free to go — no notice period, no penalty, no awkward conversation. We'd rather you stay because you want to, not because you're contracted to.
We can't control the British weather. If golf is called off by the club on the day, the rest of the session still goes ahead, and the monthly fee still applies — but we'll always do what we can to reschedule the golf itself where possible.
Every venue we play is someone else's golf club, and we're guests there. We ask every member to:
This matters more than it might seem — every venue we play at is a relationship we're building for the long term, and how our members behave as guests directly affects that.
Your complimentary 4-ball each month is for you to use — with friends, family, colleagues — whoever you fancy a round with. Book it directly with the club, use it, enjoy it. The only ask is that it isn't stacked up or block-booked, and it doesn't carry over if you miss a month.
Golf carries the normal risks of any sport, and we'd ask that you hold your own golf insurance as most golfers already do. 7 Wood can't be held responsible for injury, loss, or damage that happens on the course — the same as any golf club or society would expect.
We're proud of what we're building, and we ask that the 7 Wood name, logo, and materials aren't used to promote anything outside of 7 Wood itself without checking with us first.
No committees, no disciplinary procedures, no fine print designed to catch people out. If something ever isn't working — for you, or for us — we'd rather just talk about it directly.
